Happiness Speaks: A call to rediscover
Happiness Speaks: A call to rediscover
I am Happiness, eternal and free,
A gift meant for all, not a prize to seize.
Yet you chase me down endless roads,
Through fleeting joys and heavy loads.
You think I live in things you buy,
In treasures stacked- you always aim and try
You search for me in gold and fame,
But I am not a pawn in fortune's game.
You teach your children to hunt and claim
To tether me to wealth and fame
Yet with every grasp, I fade away,
For I cannot thrive where desires sway.
You think I hide in success’s glow,
In crowded rooms, in status to show.
But I do not live in what you own,
I bloom in hearts that give and grow
In your rush, you forget my face,
Mistaking the race for my embrace.
Every triumph, every fleeting cheer,
Leaves you hollow and unquenched on an endless shore
And yet, I am here, patient and still,
In the quiet, in the strength of your will.
I live in the sunrise, in laughter shared,
In acts of love, in hearts that care.
Oh seekers of joy, pause and see,
I am not beyond; I am within thee.
In contentment’s glow, in desires subdued,
I thrive in grace, in gratitude.
When you stop the chase, the endless climb,
And listen to the rhythm of time,
You’ll find me there, in the simplest song,
For I was with you all along.
So seek no more in the world's disguise,
Find me in love, in truth, in skies.
I am not bought, nor earned, nor owed—
I am a gift when the heart lets go.
I am Happiness, pure and true,
And I wait patiently to dwell in you.

Wonderful!! It is so true. Happiness does not come from worldly desires and fulfillment. It has to be internalised
