Smarter Than the Times: Generation Undefined

Smarter Than the Times: Generation Undefined

Born between rotary phones and typed-out letters,
I see Gen X (1965–1980) breaking old patterns.
They’re cool and skeptical, rebels of their day,
They are tough—and that’s mine to stay.

Gen Y (1981–1996), close cousins of mine,
Shiny and swift, but their grit needs some time.
As they chase dreams and aim for the sky,
I see their need for focus to truly fly.

Gen Z (1997–2009), so bold and so quick,
With fleeting focus, they shift and they flick.
Temperamental and shallow, they move with the tide,
But lasting depth? It’s hard to find inside.

Gen Alpha (2010–2024) taps screens with ease,
Coding before they can tie up their sleeves.
They’re brilliant to watch, so sharp and so keen,
But I see entitlement where depth should have been.

So where do I fit in this generational tide?
Caught between decades, I stand and decide:
Labels can’t bind me; I rise above,
I’m Generation Impact, shaping with love.

I use AI tools and guide young minds,
Finding my purpose where meaning aligns.
Years may define, but I redefine,

Living as myself—free, true, and fine
